After 18 years as a literary agent and book editor, I bring an editorial sensibility to conversation design and prompt engineering, building products that give AI a distinct voice, and systems that evaluate whether that voice is doing its job. Deep Cut

Deep Cut identifies any song playing in the room and generates an original editorial article about it: artist history, the story behind the track, critical reception, and deep lore. The project explores how editorial content can drive interest-based personalization, giving listeners a foothold into a song, and a reason to follow their curiosity further.

Afterword

A proof-of-concept application demonstrating how multimodal AI can bridge the gap between physical and digital media. By analyzing a physical bookshelf, Afterword identifies underlying narrative preferences and translates them into cross-media recommendations, opening up new worlds of discovery. Built using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and the Anthropic API, developed in Cursor with Claude.
